UGREEN 50857 USB 3.0 to SATA dual-bay dock
Connect and manage 2.5″ and 3.5″ SATA I, II, and III hard drives and SSDs in a dual-bay docking station. Each bay supports drives up to 12 TB.
Host compatibility
Works with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10; Mac OS 10.4 through 10.13; Linux; and Chrome OS.
USB 3.0 and UASP transfer
The USB 3.0 to SATA dock supports transfer speeds up to 6 Gbps using the UASP protocol, described as up to 70% faster than conventional USB 3.0. Note: UASP is available on Windows 8 and Mac OS 8 and 9; on other systems, speeds up to 5 Gbps are available when connected to a USB 3.0 port.
Offline disk cloning
Copy data between two drives without a computer for backup and storage tasks. An integrated LED shows cloning progress. Plug-and-play operation requires no drivers or installation.
Thermal design, sleep mode, and protection
A heat-dissipation layout helps the dock shed heat. After idle time, the unit enters sleep mode to reduce power use (dual-bay model: 15 minutes; single-bay model: 3 minutes) and ease wear on drives. Multi-protection guards against short circuit, over-current, and over-pressure conditions.
