True wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.3, and studio-oriented audio features co-developed with Dynaudio.

Sound quality

Dynaudio co-developed the acoustic system for a Hi-Fi grade listening experience. The design uses high–bass dual-unit frequency division from high-end audio; upgraded dual units are arranged coaxially so frequency points integrate cleanly. Frequency response is widened to 10–40 kHz for rich detail across low, mid, and high bands.

Hi-Res certified native sound quality. OnePlus Buds Pro 2 supports LHDC 5.0 Ultra HD transmission at up to 1 Mbps, described as delivering about four times the music detail of traditional transmission protocols for high-resolution playback.

Personalized listening uses algorithms tuned to individual ear canal structure and hearing characteristics to compensate for sense-of-hearing differences. A self-developed algorithm provides real-time dynamic bass gain when enabled, with adjustable gain and low-frequency level to taste.

11 mm dynamic drivers support powerful, punchy bass. OnePlus Audio ID offers a personalized hearing profile for tailored playback.

Noise cancellation

48 dB deep active noise reduction with up to 99.6% effective background noise cancellation. A new noise-reduction scheme and sound-generating unit; certified through German Rhine high-performance noise reduction testing. Maximum noise reduction depth is stated as 267% higher than the first generation.

Noise reduction bandwidth reaches 4000 Hz for stronger attenuation of human voice compared with the previous generation. Tailored noise reduction curve technology requires a one-time match to adapt the curve to you. A three-microphone stereo noise reduction scheme intelligently recognizes environmental noise and selects an appropriate mode, balancing reduction and wearing comfort.

For calls, AI-powered noise reduction and three ENC noise-reducing microphones support voice isolation; the curved bud design helps reduce wind and residual noise pickup.
