The JBL Live 780NC is an over-ear wireless headphone with True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 and long battery runtime for travel and daily listening.

Sound

JBL Signature Sound with Hi-Res Audio over wired and wireless connections. JBL Spatial Sound adds 3D immersion from stereo content. Tune wireless or wired playback in the JBL Headphones app, including Personi-Fi 3.0 interactive profiling, Spatial Sound, touch and button controls, call settings, Low Volume Dynamic EQ, and Personal Sound Amplification for ear balance and conversation volume.

True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0

Six microphones capture and filter ambient noise, continuously analyzing surroundings and adjusting in real time. Use the app to control how much outside sound passes through.

Calls and wireless

2-mic Perfect Calls 2.0 uses dual beamforming microphones with an AI-trained noise cancellation algorithm for clearer voice pickup in wind and background noise. Next-gen Bluetooth with LE Audio connects at lower power with higher quality; Auracast audio sharing is available from the JBL Headphones app where supported. Multi-point connection pairs two Bluetooth devices and switches between them without manual disconnects.

Battery and comfort

Up to 80 hours of battery life with ANC off; up to 50 hours with ANC on. A 5-minute speed charge adds about 4 hours of playtime. Soft ergonomic earcups and a lightweight silicone headband support extended wear; a metal hinge adds durability. The design folds flat for storage in the included soft pouch.

Wired use

ANC can operate when listening over a cable, but ANC circuitry still requires battery power. JBL Smart Tx (sold separately) allows 3.5 mm or USB-C wired sources while retaining selected wireless-style controls without Bluetooth.
