The Anker Zolo A2699 is a single-port wall charger with one USB-C output rated up to 20W. It targets phones, wireless earbud cases, and tablets that accept lower-wattage charging, using second-generation GaN internals aimed at cooler operation than many conventional 20W adapters.
Charging performance
The USB-C port delivers up to 20W—roughly three times the speed of common 5W bundled adapters. That output supports fast charging on smartphones and many tablets, and can top up wireless earbud cases without a larger multi-port brick.
GaN II engineering
GaN II runs at double the operating frequency of standard GaN designs. An upgraded circuit layout and stacking construction let Anker shrink the body by about 25% versus earlier 20W models while keeping the same power rating. The same design is described as running roughly 13 °C cooler than typical 20W chargers, which helps protect internal components over long use.
Compact build
A 3D transparent exterior and stacking-technology housing are meant to preserve a premium feel in a smaller footprint. Cooler operation paired with the reduced shell size is intended to keep the unit comfortable to handle after extended sessions—an issue some compact chargers suffer when they run hot.
