Description
Apple AirPods Max 2 (USB-C)
AirPods Max 2 is Apple’s over-ear headphone with lossless audio over USB-C. The Apple H2 chip brings noise control in line with AirPods Pro class performance, with up to 20 hours of battery life and about 1.5 hours of listening from a 5-minute charge.
H2 audio and noise control
- Active Noise Cancellation and Adaptive Audio reduce traffic, HVAC, and ambient noise with less of the pressure feel of older ANC.
- Personalised Spatial Audio with head tracking places films and live recordings in a stable sound field.
- Nine microphones support ANC and clearer voice pickup on busy streets.
- USB-C delivers lossless and ultra-low-latency audio for listening, editing, and monitoring.
Apple ecosystem integration
Automatic device switching, Digital Crown control for volume, playback, calls, and Siri, and spatial audio features are strongest when paired with Apple devices. Over Bluetooth 5.3, Android phones can connect, but spatial audio personalisation and automatic switching are not available.
Fit, weight, and case
Weight is approximately 386.2g including ear cushions—heavier than many rivals. The mesh canopy spreads load across the headband; many users stay comfortable for roughly two to three hours before wanting a break. The included Smart Case puts the headphones in an ultra-low-power state but does not fully power them off, so standby drain can occur if they sit unused for extended periods.
