Xiaomi Outdoor Camera BW300
Wire-free outdoor monitoring with 2K resolution from a 3MP sensor, smart full-colour night vision, and a 4900mAh battery. Optional 5W solar panel support helps extend runtime between charges.
Imaging & field of view
2K resolution improves picture quality; the 3MP camera captures finer detail for a complete outdoor view. A 130° wide field of view reduces blind spots. The f/1.6 large aperture increases light intake for clearer images.
Typical use cases include reading vehicle licence plates from a distance, seeing home delivery couriers, and watching children playing by the door.
Night vision
Smart full-colour night vision uses high-power infrared lights and LEDs to illuminate low-light scenes and record abnormal activity clearly.
Power & battery
4900mAh super-large battery supports long-lasting use. Local algorithm filtering and a low-power architecture reduce consumption and prolong battery life. An optional 5W solar panel (purchased separately) can be angle-adjusted to capture light and help maintain power; solar panels are not included in the box.
Weather resistance
IP67 dust and water resistance is rated for harsh outdoor conditions, helping guard against dust intrusion and adverse weather.
AI motion, audio & deterrence
AI-powered motion capture activates intelligent tracking after a moving object is detected to preserve motion trajectory in greater detail. Two-way audio uses a built-in high-sensitivity microphone that picks up human voices within 7 metres and reduces background noise.
When an intruder is detected, audio and visual warnings activate alarm and lights. The Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app sends instant alerts for abnormal activity when you are away.
Security & smart home
Video transmission uses the MJA1 security chipset and AES-128 encryption. Integration with Google Home and Alexa displays is supported for viewing on connected screens.
Cloud & event pictures
Without Xiaomi Cloud Storage Pro membership, triggered events still send message warnings and provide 3 pictures with 7-day rolling storage for real-time viewing. Cloud storage membership service is currently unavailable in Russia; only 7-day rolling cloud storage service is available. Cloud service policies vary by region and country—refer to the Xiaomi Home app for details.
Installation
The camera base mounts with screws. With an optional swivel base, the viewing angle can be adjusted.
